NIAGARA UN, N.Y. – The baseball team (4-7) had its spring break weekend plans altered due to weather conditions. Friday and Saturday’s games have been cancelled, but the Purple Eagles are back in action, Sunday, March 18, with a doubleheader at UMBC.

Niagara is 3-1 on its spring break road trip, with victories over Maryland-Eastern Shore and Virginia Wesleyan College. Junior Mark Wilson (Peterborough, Ont.) and senior Matt Ircandia (Calgary, Alb.) are Sunday’s scheduled starters for the double-dip. Game one is slated for a noon start.
