Men’s Swimming & Diving Hosts Buffalo this Weekend

NIAGARA UN., N.Y. – The Niagara University men’s (0-1) swimming and diving team is back in action Saturday at the Oxy Aquatic Center at 1p.m., taking on the University at Buffalo (1-0).

The Purple Eagles dropped their first meet of the season to Duquesne, 109-84. Sophomore Zak Brown (Bakersfield Calif.) finished second in the 1,000 freestyle and junior Pat Garvey (Pine Bush, N.Y.) finished second in the men’s 200 freestyle, despite losing to the Dukes.

Buffalo (1-0) is coming off a season-opening victory, defeating Ball State, 136-107, Oct. 27.

Niagara is in search of its first victory against Buffalo, having dropped the last four meetings between the two teams.
