Junior Brian Griffin placed 11th in the 200 breaststroke at the ECAC Championships.

PITTSBURGH – The Niagara University men’s and women’s swimming and diving teams closed the 2004 season Sunday at the 2004 Eastern College Athletic Conference Swimming and Diving Championships on the campus of the University of Pittsburgh in Pittsburgh, Pa.

Junior Brian Griffin (Petersburg, Va.) placed 11the in the 200 breast in a time of 2:08.71. Classmate Traci Liberi (Churchville, N.Y.) finished 16th in the 100 free with a time of 55.06.

In the women’s 400 free relay, freshman Heather Link (Wheatfield), freshman Stacie Thoman (Lockport), Liberi and sophomore Jody Pangburn (West Seneca) placed 13th with a time of 3:47.79.
