Biography
Why Niagara?: “Niagara appears to have the perfect balance between the classroom and the volleyball court. It offers the high competition of division-one volleyball, yet the coaches keep a positive atmosphere that fits my personality.”
On The Court: Bayer was the engine of Cleveland’s Painesville Riverside High School team. Bayer started her senior season named to the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Under Armour Girls’ High School All-America Watch List and helped lead Riverside to a 25-3 en route to reaching the state regional final for the second straight season. Bayer earned Division I All-Ohio honorable mention as a junior in 2009 was named to the Division I All-Ohio Third Team in 2010. Bayer was a two-time Division I District First Team member and Division I All-Conference First Team member.
