I picked Niagara because it felt like a place where I can go and grow as a student athlete and a young man.

2018-19 (Junior)
Named MAAC Player of the Week on December 10 and December 24...Played in 30 games and started in 28 games...Averaged 10.5 points, 3.5 rebounds, and team-high 3.4 assists which were seventh in the MAAC…Shot a team-high 81.4 percent from the free-throw line which was third in the MAAC…Scored 18 points, including tying a career-high with nine free throws vs. St. Bonaventure (11/12)...Netted a then-season-high 19 points, grabbed a career-high seven rebounds and played in a career-high 37 minutes at Loyola (11/14)...Had a then-season-high six assists versus Grambling State (11/23)...Made a season-high three 3-pointers at Saint Francis (PA) (11/30)...Dished out a then-career-high nine assists, scored 12 points, and had six rebounds at Pitt (12/3)...Led all scorers with a season-high 23 points, including scoring the game-winning basket, while tying a career-high in field goals made with nine and led the game in assists with six and grabbed six rebounds versus New Hampshire (12/9)...Scored a game-high 19 points, including 16 in the second half, and led the team in assists with five and grabbed six boards at Army (12/22)...Had first double-double of the season with 15 points, including a career-best 11 made free throws, and a career-high 10 assists and added seven rebounds in a career-high 38 minutes versus Norfolk State (12/29)...Dished out a game-high six assists versus Manhattan (1/5)...Scored a game-high 21 points on 8 of 13 shooting and grabbed four rebounds at Siena (1/17)...Led NU in assists with three and scored 11 points against Marist (2/8)...Led NU in assists with four against Manhattan (2/15)...Scored 14 points and had four rebounds at Saint Peter’s (2/24)...Scored 11 points, grabbed five rebounds, and shared team-high honors in assists with four at Canisius (2/27).

Played in 33 games and started in three games...Averaged 4.0 points per game 2.9 rebounds per game…Shot 79.5 percent from the free throw line…Averaged 2.3 points and 1.0 rebounds in 20 conference games…Made debut in the season opener...Scored a then-career-high 10 points in first career start at Brown (11/13)...Played in a  then-career-high 18 minutes at Hartford (11/15)...Played in a career-high 23 minutes at Rutgers (11/20)...Scored a career-high 17 points on 6 of  shooting including draining a  career-best five 3-pointers while also setting a career-best in rebounds with four versus Drexel (11/23)...Led NU in steals with a career-high two at Marist (12/2)...Led NU with a career-high seven assists in a career-high 28 minutes at LIU Brooklyn (12/21)...Scored 14 points in the win against Quinnipiac (3/2)...Led team in assists once...Led/tied team in steals eight times.

Henry Ford High School 
Towns was a four-year starter at Detroit’s Henry Ford High School…Towns helped lead the Henry Ford Trojans to consecutive state championship games…In the 2015 championship game, he scored 15 points and had a game-high six assists as Henry Ford fell in the title game…As a senior, Towns spearheaded the Trojans to the program’s first-ever Class B State Championship…He scored 17 points in the semifinals and followed with 15 points in the championship game win over Stevensville Lakeshore…Towns finished his senior season averaging 24 points, 5.7 assists and 4.2 rebounds per game…Towns was named to the Detroit News All-Area First Team, to the Detroit Free Press First Team and the Detroit Free Press All-Tournament Team.
