Biography

Why Niagara?: “I chose Niagara because of the beautiful campus, which is not overwhelmingly big.  Niagara has a welcoming feel to it whether it be the staff, students or just the location.”

 

On The Field: Recieved Second-Team All-MAAC honors in 2007 and 2006...Earned MAAC Rookie of the Year and All-MAAC First Team in 2005...Was named to the MAAC All-Tournament Team all three years...Named to the MAAC All-Academic Team for three-straight years...Ranked second in the conference with 35 points and 14 goals as a junior and second on the team with seven assists...Sits fifth on Niagara’s all-time points (92) and goals (38) chart and seventh on Niagara’s all-time assists (16) list...Scored the game-winner in her first collegiate match against Albany (Aug. 26)...Notched a hat trick as a freshman against Cleveland State.

 

Personal: Born April 22, 1987, in Burlington, Ont....Daughter of Randy and Bev Gartley…Has one older sister, Lisa, and a younger sister, Ali…Majoring in criminology and criminal justice...Owns a 3.63 grade-point average.
