Biography
Why Niagara?
"Niagara, and most of all coach Peter Veltri, made me feel very welcome. I can work with Dutch goalie coach Rudy Pompert and the athletic ambition suits me. I also loved the fact that Niagara is a small university with a beautiful campus and beautiful surroundings."
On the Field (2016)
Played 12 games in goal in 2016 for a total of 845:05 minutes…Made 34 saves and had a .642 save percentage...19 goals were scored against her and had a  2.02 goals against average...Finished the season 1-7-1 with two shutouts…Was named MAAC Defensive Player of the Week after the Purple Eagles battled to a 0-0 draw with Michigan State on Aug. 19.Â
Before Niagara
Is a two-time National Cup winner (2011, 2012)...Her Under 19 team were the 2012 National Champions...Was the youngest player to ever play with the Dutch Top League Women...Was named the All-Dutch Best Goalkeeper in 2014 as well as being named the All-State Best Goalkeeper.

Born in 's-Hertogenbosch, the Netherlands...Daughter of Anita van Nuland-Pennings and Wiejo van Nuland...Siblings Kimberley and Waylon...Pursuing a degree in Biology.
