Why Niagara?: "I was given the opportunity to play lacrosse while getting a good education close to home."

On the Field: Started in all 14 games during the 2011 season...Recorded a career-high seven goals and tied her career-high of two assists...Collected a career-high 29 ground balls and won a career-high 18 draw controls...Started all 12 games during the 2010 season....Had an assist and collected 17 ground balls...Played in 14 of 15 games during the 2009 season...Had two assists and five caused turnovers on the season.

Personal: Born in West Seneca, N.Y....Daughter of Niagara Men’s Hockey Coach David and Kathleen Burkholder...Has an older brother, David...Majoring in sport management.
