Why Niagara?: "I chose Niagara for the wide variety of academic programs and the small classroom size."

On the Field: Earned MAAC All-Academic honors in 2008 & 2009...Started every game (41) since arriving at Niagara... Scored career-highs in goals (18), assists (9), and points (27), as well as caused turnovers (9) during the 2009 season...Led the 2008 team in draw controls (27) and was second on the squad in groundballs (29)...In the top four on team in goals and points each season...Tied her career-high three goal mark against Siena...Set a team season-high of three assists and career game-high of four points against Manhattan...In 2007 scored her first collegiate goal in her first collegiate game against Vermont .

Personal: Born in Auburn, N.Y.…Daughter of Steve and Mary Downing…Has an older brother, Greg, who is a two-time all-american lacrosse player at Fairfield University...Majoring in accounting.
