Why Niagara?

2017 Season
Served as a team captain for the second straight season...Earned her third-straight MAAC All-Academic Team honor in 2017...Started all 19 games for Niagara...Ranked second on the team with 41 ground balls and third with 20 caused turnovers, adding 11 draw controls...41 ground balls are fourth all-time in a single season at Niagara, while 20 caused turnovers rank seventh...Scored her first career goal on her only shot of the season vs. Colgate (2/28)...Career-high six ground balls and four caused turnovers at Jacksonville (3/6)...Collected seven ground balls, two draw controls, and one caused turnover in two postseason games.
2016 Season
Named a team captain and earned Preseason All-MAAC honors prior to her junior campaign...Played in all 18 games, making 17 starts...Ranked third on the team with 32 ground balls and 16 caused turnovers, adding nine draw controls...Earned four ground balls and three caused turnovers in MAAC Championship First Round game vs. Fairfield (4/30)...Named to the 2016 MAAC All-Academic Team and made the IWLCA Zag Sports Academic Honor Roll.
2015 Season
Named All-MAAC Second Team as a sophomore...Started all 18 games...Led the Purple Eagles in ground balls for a second consecutive year with 44, which ranks third all-time in program history...Caused 15 turnovers and added 12 draw controls...Collected four ground balls in four games, including Niagara's MAAC Championship First Round game at Monmouth...Registered three ground balls and two caused turnovers vs. St. Bonaventure (3/17) and vs. Robert Morris (3/20)...Named to the 2015 MAAC All-Academic Team.
2014 Season
Named to the MAAC All-Rookie Team in 2014...Led the Purple Eagles in ground balls as a freshman with 30...Added five draw controls and 12 caused turnovers at the defensive end...Collected a season-best four ground balls vs. Quinnipiac (4/27).
Before Niagara
Graduated from Victor High School after being named as a US Lacrosse High School Academic All-American in 2012 and 2013…Awarded Monroe County Public School Athletic Conference All-County First Team in 2013…A two-time second team all-county honoree…Most improved player in 2011 for the varsity lacrosse team.

Born in Rochester, NY…Daughter of George and Denee Martin…Has two brothers, Craig and Ian…Majoring in biology.
