Why Niagara?: "I chose Niagara because it has an excellent education program and I have the opportunity to play lacrosse."

On the Field: Earned All-Academic honors in 2008 & 2009...Started every game (41) since arriving at Niagara...Led the team in goals (25) and points (32) in 2009...Finished second on the team in goals (15), points (28) and shots (31) in 2008...Notched seven career multi-goal games, incluing three-goal games in 2008 against St. Bonaventure (April 9) and Manhattan (April 18).

Personal: Born in Buffalo, N.Y.…Daughter of James and Deborah Formato…Has an older sister, Kayle, and younger sister, Caitlin...Kayle was a member of the Geneseo cross country team...Majoring in education.
