Why Niagara?: "I was attracted to the university’s prominent education program and the opportunity to continue my career in athletics."
On the Field: Earned MAAC All-Academic honors in 2008 & 2009...Played in all 15 games, during the 2009 season...Scored 13 goals, three assists, and 16 points in 2009...Tied for second on the team in goals (15) and tied for third in points (19) in 2008... Scored six goals in the first four games of the 2008 season, including five against Howard and St. Francis (Pa.)... Recorded her first collegiate goal in her first collegiate game.
Personal: Born in Geneva, N.Y.... Daughter of Stephen and Janice Valerio... Has an older brother, Joseph... Majoring in education.
