Appeared in 23 games with 7 starts...averaged 9.8 points, 3.7 rebounds, and 2.2 assists in 23.4 minutes per game...shot an efficient 47.3 percent from the field and 36.2 percent from 3-point range...scored a season-high 17 points against both Detroit Mercy (Nov. 10) and Siena (Dec. 6)...pulled down a season-high 9 rebounds against Manhattan (Jan. 18)...recorded 5 assists at Merrimack (Feb. 6)...posted 13 points, 5 rebounds, and 4 assists in win over Marist (Jan. 23)...tallied 14 points and 2 steals at Quinnipiac (Feb. 8).

Before Niagara
Smith, Niagara's first in-state player since 2021-22, played the last two seasons at East Tennessee State. In 2023-24, he appeared in 13 games and averaged 4.3 points and 2.0 rebounds in 14.2 minutes per game. In 2022-23 he played in all 32 games averaging 7.4 points and 3.5 rebounds per contest while recording double figures in 12 games. He recorded a career-best 20 points against Wofford during his first season at ETSU. Prior to ETSU, Smith was a member of the men's basketball program at Mansfield (Division II) for three seasons but only played the 2021-22 season, where he was named PSAC Rookie of the Year after starting 27 of 28 games and averaging 20.6 points and 7.0 rebounds per game. His 56 points against Bloomsburg is a Mansfield single-game record.
