Before Niagara
McKnight, a 6-foot-2 guard from the state of Texas, comes to Niagara from Paris Junior College where he played in 31 games as a freshman, averaging 15.7 points, 4.0 rebounds, and 2.6 assists per contest. He shot 44.9 percent from the field, 37.9 percent from 3-point land, and 75.2 percent at the line. The Texas product finished the season with 17 games in double-figures, including a season-high 31 on Feb. 7 against Trinity Valley.
