Biography
2020:
Appeared in all seven games, collected 14 ground balls, led the team in caused turnovers with nine. Was also a member of the MAAC academic honor roll.
Why Niagara?
“Niagara fit me because it had the major I wanted and an up-and-coming lacrosse team. I liked the smallness at the school and the closeness to home. I loved the lacrosse team and can’t wait to be a part of it.”
2018:
Named to the 2018 MAAC All-Academic Team...Played in 16 games and started those 16 games...Collected three points (two goals and one assist)...Defensively collected 38 groundballs, 23 caused turnovers and one draw control...Season-high with one goal at St. Bonaventure (Feb. 22) and at Denver (March 10)...Season-high with seven ground balls vs. Binghamton (Feb. 17)...Season-high with three caused turnovers vs. Binghamton (Feb. 17), at Marquette (March 3), and vs. Yale (March 13).
2017:
Unanimous selection to the MAAC All-Rookie Team at defense...Named to the 2017 MAAC All-Tournament Team after collecting one ground ball, five draw controls, and four caused turnovers in two postseason games...Started all 19 games for Niagara in her freshman campaign...Ranked second on Niagara with 22 caused turnovers, fourth with 17 draw controls, and fifth with 23 ground balls...Season-high four ground balls vs. Binghamton (March 22) and at Michigan (Apr. 4)...Season-high five caused turnovers vs. Marist (Apr. 19) to go with two ground balls and two draw controls...Season-high four draw controls at Canisius (5/5) in the semifinals of the MAAC Championships.
Before Niagara:
Paul played on the CNYELC club team, and played soccer and lacrosse from 2010- 2016...Received the Soccer Coaches' Award, Soccer Scholar Athlete...Honorable Mention All-CNYCL, Lacrosse Scholar Athlete, Lacrosse Academic All American, and Lacrosse First Team All-CNYCL...Also received academic achievements such as Junior National Honor Society, and during her freshman, sophomore, junior, and senior year she received high honor roll...Senior year was in the National Honor Society.
