Appeared in all 31 games...averaged 3.6 points and 3.0 rebounds in 13.6 minutes per game...shot 58.0 percent from the field...scored a season-high 12 points at Saint Peter's (Mar. 6), going 4-for-8 from the field and 4-for-4 from the free throw line...grabbed a season-high 11 rebounds in the same game...posted 10 points at Quinnipiac (Feb. 8), shooting 3-for-4 from the field and 3-for-4 from the charity stripe...collected 9 rebounds at Mount St. Mary's (Jan. 5)...registered 8 points against Le Moyne (Dec. 29).

Before Niagara
Shortt is a 6-foot-8 forward who hails from Aukland, New Zealand and played basketball at IMG Academy in Florida, one of the top basketball academies in the country. He played club basketball for Basketball Auckland and graduated from Aukland Grammar School in 2022.
