Brennan joins Niagara from the United States Army, where he worked from 2018-21. Brennan most recently served as the Base Lead Strength and Conditioning Coach for the 10th Mountain Division at Fort Drum. He managed a strength and conditioning staff of 10 full-time coaches in the 1st Brigade Combat Team, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 10th Sustainment Brigade and 10th Combat Aviation Brigade. Brennan was the Lead Strength and Conditioning coach for the 2nd Brigade Combat Team and he oversaw the Physical Training Program for the readiness of 4,300 soldiers across seven battalions.

Brennan served as the Lead Strength and Conditioning Coach for the 3/71 Cavalry in the 10th Mountain Division from July to November of 2020 after being the Lead Strength and Conditioning Coach for the 1-7 Air Defense Artillery Battalion in the 108th Brigade from August 2019 to July 2020. When Brennan started with the Army in 2018, he was the Strength and Conditioning Coach for the 1-6 Infantry Battalion in the 2nd Brigade of the 1st Armored Division.

Prior to working with the Army, Brennan was a Strength and Conditioning Intern at the University of Alabama from September through December of 2018. While at Alabama, he implemented all aspects of strength and conditioning for the football and track and field teams under the supervision of the Head Strength Coach. Brennan was the Assistant Strength Coach for softball, swimming and diving, women’s rowing and cheer.

Brennan was a Strength and Conditioning Intern for the Buffalo Bills from April to September of 2018, where he assisted with the athletic development of players, contributed to the assessment of athletes, prepared pre- and post-training nutrition for athletes and performed refractometer hydration testing for all athletes.

Brennan began his career as the Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach at the University at Buffalo (UB) from January to April of 2018. He was one of five strength coaches for the UB football program.

Brennan earned his associate’s degree from Nassau Community College in 2012, where he played football and helped the team to a 12-0 record in 2010; the team was ranked No. 3 in the nation for all junior colleges.

Brennan played on the football team at UB following his time at Nassau Community College. He graduated with a bachelor’s degree in psychology from UB in 2014.

Brennan earned his master’s in business administration, with a concentration in management, from Wagner College in 2016.
