Taylor started in all 28 games for the WTC Westerners, averaging 8.0 points per game while leading the team with 6.9 rebounds per game earning all-conference honorable mention accolades. Taylor made the Dean’s List at A&T, played in 28 games including starting in five as a freshman for the Aggies...Spent the 2013-14 season at North Carolina A&T...Played in 28 games including starting in five as a freshman...Taylor was a standout player at Beaver Country Day High School in Chestnut Hill, Mass. where he helped lead the Beavers to the 2012 New Preparatory School Athletic Council Class B Championship...He was a three-year captain and earned Eastern Independent League Honorable Mention honors as a senior.

Born on January 19, 1994 in Boston, Massachusetts...Son of Maurice Taylor Sr. and Jamycia Bailey-Taylor...Has seven siblings - Jacquil (plays basketball at Purdue University), Marquis, Javon, Dante, Christopher, Michon, Jaliyah...Hobbies are poetry and listening to music...Favorite athlete is Kobe Bryant...Aspires to play professional basketball and to become an Industrial-Organizational Psychologist. Taylor had interest from Missouri State, Lamar, Sam Houston and Abilene Christian before signing with the Purple Eagles.
