2017-18 (Junior)

Before Niagara 
Spent his first two years at Boys and Girls High School in Brooklyn, N.Y. before playing his junior and senior years for the Long Island Lutheran Crusaders under head coach John Buck...In his first year at LuHi, he averaged 12 points per game and eight boards per contest on his way to earning team MVP honors...The Crusaders, who were the New York State Association of Independent Schools (NYSAIS) champions, advanced to the New York State Federation Class AA Final after downing Green Tech behind Prochet’s 26 points and 15 rebounds. LuHi finished the season with a 21-5 record...Prochet picked up individual accolades during the season…At the 22nd annual Mirabito STOP-DWI Holiday Classic Tournament in Binghamton, NY., he led the tournament in rebounds in a field consisting of teams including Christ the King and New Rochelle…He was named the MVP at the Big Apple Basketball Invitational with 17 points, 10 rebounds and four assists in a win over New Jersey power Linden...Prochet played on the AAU national circuit with New Heights (New York) where he averaged 9 points and 5.8 rebounds per game.

Personal
Had interest from power programs such as Arizona, Georgetown, St. John’s, VCU, Dayton and Minnesota...He eventually received offers from Fordham, Hofstra, Seton Hall, Maine, St. Francis, Farleigh Dickson, MAAC-rivals Iona, Quinnipiac and Monmouth, and Little 3 foe St. Bonaventure.
