Before Niagara
Bumbalough was a four-year member of the men's basketball program at Ball State, where he finished his career seventh all-time in 3-pointers made, fifth in 3-point attempts, third in 3-pointers made in a season, and second in 3-pointers attempted in a season. As a junior, Bumbalough averaged a career-best 10.9 points per game. In 2022-23, the New Castle, Ind., native averaged 2.3 points in 17.1 minutes per contest. In four seasons, Bumbalough registered 37 games with double-figures, and scored a career-high 21 on two occasions during his junior season.
