2008-09 (FRESHMAN)

Saw action off the bench in 33 games, helping the team to the second-most wins in program history...Averaged 3.0 points per game, 1.4 rebounds per game and 0.6 blocks per game...Shot 32-for-59 from the floor (54.2 percent)...Totaled double figures in three contests, including a career-high 12 points in a win over Manhattan (1/3)...Was 3-for-4 from the floor and a career-best 6-for-7 from the line in the victory...Shot a personal-best 5-for-7 in two contests, scoring 11 points in wins against Monmouth (11/28) and Siena (2/27)...Grabbed a career-high nine rebounds in the season-opening win over Towson (11/16)...Pulled in five rebounds and collected three blocks against Monmouth...Swatted a career-high five shots at Manhattan (1/31)...Totaled five points and five rebounds in the MAAC Tournament...Added two points, two rebounds and one block in the NIT game (3/17).

2007-08 (REDSHIRT)

Redshirt season.

IMHOTEP CHARTER HIGH SCHOOL

Earned second-team all-state honors and first-team all-league accolades during his senior campaign...Was the team MVP of the Imhotep Charter Panthers...Played in the All-Public and All-City All-Star games as a senior after leading the Panters to the semifinals of the state tournament...Averaged 16.0 points and 10.0 rebounds per game during his senior season.

Born in Philadelphia, Pa....Son of Dana Edwards…Has two younger brothers, Tyreek and  Najee...Majoring in sociology.
