Biography

Before Niagara
As a senior at Lakota West High School in Cincinnati, Ohio during the 2019-20 season, Julian Mackey led the Greater Miami Conference in scoring averaging 21.9 points per game. He scored in double figures in all 24 games and scored at least 20 points 16 times, including a season-high 34 points. His 525 total points set a school record. He averaged 4.5 rebounds, 2.2 assists, and 2.2 steals per game while also shooting 80 percent from the free-throw line. Mackey, a combo guard, was named to the All-GMC First Team and was named to the Ohio High School Athletic Association (OHSAA) Honorable Mention team.
