Before Niagara
Cintron was a three-time letterwinner at Longwood University from 2017-20. Cintron gained significant playing time with the Lancers and was known for his relentless motor, size, strength, and athleticism. During the 2019-20 season, Cintron averaged career-highs with 6.2 points per game and with 6.2 rebounds per game while playing in 31 games and starting in 29. Cintron averaged career-highs in 3-point percentage (.333) and free throw percentage (.723).  He scored a career-high 15 points at Northern Illinois, grabbed a career-high 14 boards at Hampton, and had a career-best six steals at George Washington. As a sophomore, he played in 34 games and was the first sub off the bench 10 times. He shot a career-high 47.4 percent from the field. He earned his way into the rotation during the second half of his freshman season, seeing action in 27 games while averaging 13.9 minutes per game. Prior to Longwood, Cintron played high school basketball at DeWitt Clinton High School in Bronx, N.Y., and a postgraduate year at Bull City Prep in Durham, N.C. He averaged 13.3 points, 9.4 rebounds and 4.9 assists per game as a senior at DeWitt Clinton. He served as team captain as a senior and led the team in points, rebounds and steals and posted four double-doubles. At Bull City Prep, he averaged 14.5 points, 5.2 rebounds, 2.4 assists and 1.3 steals per game and totaled four triple-doubles during his prep career.

Born on June 11, 1998…Son of Daniel Cintron and Lissette Casillas…Has six siblings: Michael, Jacob, Justice, Jose, Joshua and Daniel Jr….Plays both the guitar and piano…Volunteered with relief efforts for Hurricane Sandy.
