Before Niagara
Henderson Jr. played his first two seasons at Bethune-Cookman where he appeared in 53 games, making 36 starts for the Wildcats. In 2023-24 he averaged 1.7 points, 3.0 rebounds, and 1.0 blocks per contest while shooting over 50.0 percent from the field. He had a season-high eight points in the season opener at Minnesota and corralled a season-best eight rebounds on Nov. 24 against Lamar.
