Recorded MAAC Player of the Week honors… played in 32 games, making 31 starts...averaged 10.3 points, 7.8 rebounds, and 1.2 assists, in 26.6 minutes per game...scored a season-high 22 points against Rider… recorded a season high 16 rebounds against Manhattan… finished the season shooting 63.3 percent from the field…went 81-for-128 at the line.

Played in 28 games...made 1 start...finished the year averaging 2.9 points and 3.1 rebounds per game...recorded a double-double (11 points, 11 rebounds) in NU's win over Quinnipiac on Feb. 10...went 4-for-5 from the floor against Iona (Feb. 12)...had two assists vs. Fairfield (Feb. 24)...blocked two shots in MAAC Semi's loss to Iona (March 10)

Before Niagara
Obioha joins NU after a decorated high school career at Hoxie High School in Kansas. Obioha averaged 28.0 points per game, 11.0 rebounds per game and 4.0 assists per game and surpassed 1,000 career points during his senior season. He was a two-time First Team All-MCL honoree and following his junior season, he was a First Team All-State selection and was runner-up for 2A Player of the Year. His most recent accolades include being named the 2A Player of the Year and being the runner-up for Kansas Player of the Year. Obioha's high school team were league champions his sophomore and senior seasons.
