Played in 30 games, starting 20...averaged 5.4 points, 3.1 rebounds, and 1.7 assists per contest...scored a season-high 19 vs. Fairfield (Feb. 24), going 7-for-12 from the field...had a season-high six assists against D'Youville (Nov. 23)...grabbed eight boards at Siena (Feb. 5)...led NU with 14 points at Maryand (Nov. 7) to start the season...recorded five double-digit scoring performances, including three in league play...led NU with 26 steals

Before Niagara
Bayless helped his Indian Hills Community College team to a 27-6 overall record in 2021-22 and to a 53-11 record in his two seasons there. He averaged 9.0 points per game, 4.1 assists per game and 3.3 rebounds per game in 2021-22. He played in 32 games and started in 23. He finished the season with a 41.5 percent field goal percentage and an 84.4 percent free throw percentage. Bayless was a Second Team All-Region XI selection and an Academic All-Region XI honoree.
