 Why Niagara?
“I chose Niagara because it is like being part of a family. Everyone knows and cares about each other. I also like being able to compete athletically at the Division I level. Most importantly, the education I will receive will definitely help me reach my goals.”
On The Field
Started all 48 games during the 2011 season…Selected for the 2011 California Collegiate League’s All Star game…Had a .231 batting average in 173 at bats…Was third on the team with 11 doubles and finished second on the team with three triples, one home run and 16 RBIs…Spent the 2010 season playing at Riverside Junior College in Riverside, Calif...Had a .309 batting average in 139 at-bats, six doubles, six triples...Added four home runs and 25 RBIs...Won the All-Sportsmanship Award and was named to the Orange Empire All-Conference Team...Played in 48 games during his freshman season at Niagara...Was sixth on the team with a .293 batting average...Finished third on the team with a .447 slugging percentage...Had 25 runs, 44 hits, seven doubles and two home runs...Was tied for fourth on the team with 28 RBIs...Had the fewest strikeouts among starters...Led the team with 23 stolen bases which ranks him in the top five all-time in a single season at NU...His five triples tied the single-season school record.
