2016 (Sophomore)
Played in 42 games for the Purple Eagles in 2016...Led the team with a .327 batting average...Had a team-high 29 RBIs, 14 doubles, .458 slugging percentage and .978 fielding percentage...After the Purple Eagles' three-game sweep of Saint Peter's, Kirwer, who went 10-for-14 at the plate, had seven runs and 12 RBIs, was named the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association National Hitter of the Week. as well as being selected as MAAC Player of the Week and and College Sports Madness' MAAC Baseball Player of the Week...Was named to the All-MAAC Second Team at the end of the season...Prior to the season, was selected to the Preseason All-MAAC Team, as well as College Sports Madness' All-MAAC First Team. 

2015 (Freshman)
Appeared in 44 games as a freshman and started 41 games...Finished the season with a .324 batting average and .857 fielding percentage...Was second on the team with 32 runs...Had 70 fielding assists and 24 stolen bases on 27 attempts...Was named to the All-MAAC Second Team at the conclusion of the season.

Before Niagara
A product of Archbishop Jordan Catholic High School, Kirwer played for the Sherwood Park Dukes baseball club and Coach Josh Bishop...As one of the premier players in Alberta, and in all of Canada, Kirwer was selected to represent his province in the 2013 Canada Games as well as in the Blue Jays Baseball Academy Tournament 12...He led Alberta to a 3rd place finish in the Canada Games batting .368 with a .538 OBP, a 1.012 OPS, and a 0.00 ERA...Additionally, in T12 he hit .429 with a .714 OBP...As a Duke in 2014, he posted a .521 batting average on his way to winning the NorWest League Player of the Year.
