2020 (Senior)
Played and started in all 16 games...Led the team in hits with 19 and RBIs with 15...Also recorded 10 runs, five doubles and two homeruns and finished the season with a .469 slugging percentage...Was selected to the MAAC All-Academic Team and was the only player from the MAAC named to the 2020 CoSIDA Academic All-District First Team. 

2019 (Junior)
Played and started in 47 games…Tied his career-high in RBI with five against St. Bonaventure on April 9…Had 42 hits, a team-high 30 runs scored, a team-best three triples, a team-high 10 homeruns and a team-best 32 RBI…Batted .261 on the season…Was named MAAC Player of the Week on April 16

2018 (Sophomore)
Played in 47 games and started in 44…Led the team in homeruns with seven…Had 36 runs, 60 hits, 15 doubles, two triples and 49 RBIs…Finished the season with a .357 batting average, .595 slugging percentage and .443 on-base percentage…Was named MAAC Player of the Week

2017 (Freshman)
Started in all 48 games...Finished the season with 57 hits, 32 runs, 11 doubles and a team-high 48 RBI and four homeruns...He batted .317. 

Before Niagara
Battaglia was a three-year starter on the Williamsville North varsity baseball team, as well as competing with the Niagara Junior Thunderwolves at the club level...He served as a captain for his high school team during his junior and senior seasons, and was a captain for the Junior Thunderwolves in his junior season...Battaglia, a three-time Scholar Athlete Award recipient, was named a Preseason All-State Honorable Mention for 2016 graduates by Prep Baseball Report (PBR) and was selected for the PBR Buffalo/Niagara region team to compete in PBR New York games.
