Why Niagara?
“I chose Niagara because I have heard wonderful things about their business programs and baseball. I fell in love with the campus and knew it was my new home.”

2017 (Redshirt-Sophomore)
Made eight appearances and one start and picked up one win...Fanned 14 batters in 10.1 innings pitched. 

2016 (Redshirt-Freshman)
Pitched in eight games out of the bullpen...Struck out 10 batters in 11.0 innings pitched.

Before Niagara
Stearns joins the Purple and White from Dallas High School where he played for Ken Kashatus...While at Dallas, Nigel was selected to the Wyoming Valley All-Conference 2nd Team as a junior by recording the team’s highest overall batting average with a .422...As a senior, the lefty earned Wyoming Valley All-Conference 1st Team honors after posting a season ERA below 1.00...He was on the Honor Roll with first honors all four years of high school and was active in the Economics Club and with his Church Youth Group.
