Why Niagara? "I chose Niagara because I wanted to go to school in the East Coast and this University seemed to be the best fit, both academically and athletically."

On the Field: Started 30 games behind the dish in first year at Niagara...Collected 19 hits and scored 19 runs...Threw out 15 would-be base stealers...Owned a .990 fielding percentage...Collected two hits and two RBIs in first game at Davidson...Connected on first career home run in a 7-1 win over Fairfield...Had five multiple hit contests...Earned first-team all-conference as a sophomore at Skyline CC.

Personal: Born June 23, 1987 in Maui, Hawaii...Son of Stephen and the late Rita Lucchesi...Has two older brothers, Ian and Phillip... Majoring in sociology.
