2016 (Junior)
Started a career-high 46 games behind the plate...Set career-highs in runs with 24, at bats with 150, doubles with 11, homeruns with three and RBIs with 19...One of his best games of the season was against Pittsburgh on Feb. 19 when he had two homeruns and four RBIs. 

2015 (Sophomore)
Started 39 games and appeared in 42 games...Finished the season with a .264 batting average and a .970 fielding percentage...Had 212 put outs and 47 fielding assists.

2014 (Freshman)
Started 30 games for Niagara, playing in a total of 39 as a freshman...Turned in a .325 on base percentage...Joel did better in the field getting 200 put outs and 27 fielding assists.

Before Niagara
Brophy joins the Purple and White after four seasons at Notre Dame Catholic Secondary School...He was named Athlete of the Year in both of his junior and senior seasons, after being named Junior Male Athlete of the Year for the city of Burlington as a freshman...A three-sport athlete, he was captain of the baseball, hockey and volleyball teams...Out from behind the plate, Brophy finished his secondary school career strong, landing on the honor roll for Grade 12.
