Biography

Why Niagara?
"I chose Niagara because the campus felt like home, it had what I was looking for academically and I like the culture and coaching staff of the baseball program."

2018 (Freshman)
Made nine appearances on the mound…Fanned seven in 8.1 innings pitched.

Before Niagara
Following his senior season, Hayner was named to the all-state team, the Freeman First Team, the all-record first team and was named the Freeman Pitcher of the Year....He  threw a perfect game in his senior season and was also named to the Freeman First Team in his junior year...He compiled a 10-4 record on the mound in his three years with the varsity baseball team and was named a NYSPHSAA Scholar Athlete his junior and senior years...Competed at the club level with the Northeast Pride.

Son of Jeff and Anna...Has one brother, Connor...Plans to pursue a degree in sport management.
