Why Niagara?
"This university fit my personality. It has everything: baseball, great academics and an amazing Business program. I enjoy the close feeling of this place. It is also far enough from my home while still being close."

2015 (Junior)
Started on the mound in a team-high 8 games last season while appearing in 12 total...Finished the year fourth on the team with 33.1 innings pitched.

2014 (Sophomore)
Started three games, going 1-2 on the mound and making a total of nine apperances...Turned in a 3.44 ERA in 18.1 innings, striking out 12 along the way...His best start came against NJIT where he pitched six innings, allowing seven hits and two earned runs to help Niagara end the regular season with a 7-2 win.

2012 (Freshman)
Made 18 appearances out of the bullpen and threw 26.2 innings as a freshman...Struck out 18 batters...Finished the season with a 2-1 record.

Before Niagara
Zaccagnino is a Western New Yorker who joins the Purple Eagles after four years at JFK High School...He was an integral part of his high school squad, earning MVP honors in each of his four seasons...He took his play to the next level in his senior season when he was named the ECIC Player of the Year as well as making the All-WNY second team.
