2023 (Graduate)
Turned in one of the best seasons in program history as he hit a career best .374 in his final season at Niagara…was third in the MAAC in hitting, second in slugging percentage (.741), third in on-base percentage (.481), and second in OPS (1.222)…broke the program’s single season record with 16 homers while driving in 54 runs which is the third most in a season at Niagara…scored 51 runs which is tied for fourth most in a season at NU…had a career high 29 walks….had a career high 10 stolen bases…finished the season with 21 multi hit games and 15 multi RBI games both of which led the team…had four four RBI games and a five RBI game on 2/26 against Norfolk State…named MAAC Player of the Week once…named a top 50 outfielder by D1Baseball.com…named MAAC All-Academic…was named All-MAAC First Team as an outfielder as he started 36 of 47 games in left field...was named ABCA First Team All-Region
2022 (Senior)
Appeared in 49 games and started in 48… Batted .242 with 46 hits, including nine doubles, one triple and four homeruns, 30 RBIs and 26 runs scored… Was 7-for-10 in stolen bases...Made three appearances and one start on the mound, picking up one win and finishing the season with a 1.93 ERA… Named to the MAAC All-Academic Team
2021 (Junior)
Played and started in 31 games… Batted .234 with 25 hits, 17 runs and 11 RBIs
2020 (Sophomore)
Played and started in 11 games...Recorded six hits, six runs, three doubles and three RBIs...Was named to the MAAC All-Academic Team.
2019 (Freshman)
Played and started in 45 games…Batted .261 on the season…Recorded 42 hits, 21 runs scored, nine doubles, two triples, five homeruns and 29 RBI…Had a career-high seven RBI at Rider on March 24…Was named to the MAAC All-Rookie Team
Before Niagara
Giordano joins the Purple Eagles from Lancaster High School in Lancaster, N.Y...On the diamond in his senior season, he threw 29 innings, went 3-0, put up a .483 ERA and struck out 44...At the plate, he hit .392 with five doubles, two triples and three homeruns...He racked up 21 RBIs and 23 runs in league games...Following the 2018 season, Giordano was an All-WNY First Team selection and was named to the New York All-State First Team...He was also named the 2018 Bee Pitcher of the Year...He finished his career with a .362 average, 59 hits, 53 RBIs, 57 runs and a .449 on-base percentage...For his stellar senior seasons in baseball and football, Giordano was awarded the 2017-18 Lancaster Bee Male Athlete of the Year...On the gridiron, he caught 53 passes for 770 yards and five touchdowns...He was also impressive on defense and special teams, scoring eight return touchdowns...He earned New York All-State First Team in football...Played club ball for the Niagara Junior Thunderwolves and head coach Jeff Ziemecki...Giordano excelled in the classroom as well as on the field and was a four-year honor roll student.
