Poughkeepsie, N.Y. - Niagara women's soccer was held scoreless, 3-0, at the Tenney Stadium at Leonidoff Field in Poughkeepsie, N.Y.
Niagara goes to 6-3-0, 3-2-0 in Metro play, while Marist improves to 3-6-1, 3-1-1 in conference action.
Niagara recorded the first shot of the contest when Mahelie Barbeau was denied by the Red Foxes' keeper in the fifth minute.
Marist broke the scoreless tie in the 11th minute of the match as Caroline Liptak found Ella Bryan for the game's first goal.
The Purple and White got on the board in the 13th minute but eventually overturned it after a VAR review.
The Red Foxes doubled their lead in the 26th minute as Margaret Johnson found the back of the net, with Ariana Mullin recorded the assist.
In the 31st minute of the match, Marist recorded their final goal of the game as Jiji Sweiss found Marissa Foster.
Baillie Colling recorded a shot on goal in the 68th minute but was turned away, and in the next minute
Lucy Trinder's shot was denied by Samantha Graf.
Caitlyn Gratton tested Graf again in the 78th minute but was eventually turned away.
Poissant recorded eight saves in the loss.
