Michigan State struck first as Connor O'Keefe scored in the 24th minute of action, Charlie Norkett and Richie Ludwig recorded the two helpers on O'Keefe's tally.
The Spartans recorded two more goals before the half as Peter Soudan put one away in the 31st and Luke Spadafora scored in the 35th minute.
Michigan State's Leo Conneh recorded the Spartans fourth and final goal in the 60th minute of action to put the game 4-0 in favor of MSU.
