The Purple Eagles doubled their lead courtesy of freshman
Lucy Trinder as it became the eventual game winner from a dish from
Naiya Johnston and
Sarah Lucas in the 81st minute to give Niagara a 2-0 lead.
Syracuse cut into the Purple Eagles lead as Moo Galbus scored in the 89th minute of play with Ali Howard with the lone assist on the play, but Niagara came away victorious 2-1.
