St. Bonaventure improves to 1-0-0, as Niagara goes to 0-1-0 on the early campaign
The Bonnies recorded the first goal of the contest in the eighth minute of play as Jack Steel put St. Bonaventure on the board as Josh Seyer recorded the helper.
Till Rauch added pressure before the break for the Purple Eagles in the 27th minute as his shot on goal was fought off by the Bonnies keeper Winston Jory.
St. Bonaventure doubled their lead in the 61 st minute courtesy of Kyle Macfarlane scored from a dish from Daniel Helle to make the contest 2-0.
The Purple and White continued to add pressure in the second half as Tommy Mittelstadt's shot was turned away by Jory.
