Buffalo, N.Y. – Sophia Marerro recorded a home run in the third, but it wasn't enough as Buffalo defeated Niagara 13-4 in six innings at Nan Harvey Field in Buffalo, N.Y.

Buffalo kicked off the scoring in the first after the bases were loaded where Bella Smithson was hit by a pitch that allowed the Bulls Emily Gorman to come home.

Senior Sophia Marrero recorded the Purple Eagles three runs with a homer to left center which brought home Jolyn Gibbons and Donnalea Barnett to put the Purple and White up 3-1.

The Bulls got back on the board as the bases were loaded again as Delaney Ellis was walked which allowed Brianna Delaney to score. Buffalo did not stop there as Tabith von Kolen singled to right to allow Mirand Zipp to score to round out the third tying the game at three.

In the fourth Buffalo added five runs to extend their lead to 8-3. The Bulls scored off a wild pitch, a homerun, and a fielder's choice.
