Lake Buena Vista, Fla. — The Niagara University women's golf team wrapped up the 2025 MAAC Championships.

Niagara finished in eighth place at +99, tying the team's overall MAAC scoring record after shooting +28 on day three. Quinnipiac won the Championship at +7.

Sierra Ashbaugh paced the Purple Eagles, placing tied for 16th with a total score of 229 (+13) after shooting a career low score of 73 (+1). Marina Heister finished tied for 31st with 242 total points (+26)

Sriya Machiraju, 34th (247 +31), Mikayla Lacey, 36th (249 +33), Amber Nemis 40th (173) and making her first appearance at the MAAC tournament Himanshika Sehgal 42nd (85 +13) rounded out the Purple Eagles Lineup.

"Sierra had a fantastic week at the conference tournament. Her performance in round 3 was incredible to watch. Our seniors finished their careers on a high note, with several birdies and some great play all around today. I will miss them and their contributions to our program dearly."
