Niagara Powers Past Canisius with Third Period Surge

BUFFALO, N.Y.- Niagara staged an impressive third-period rally to defeat Canisius 6-3 at LECOM. The Purple Eagles (17-13-3, 15-8-2) showcased their offensive depth with six different players finding the back of the net.

How it Happened
Tyler Wallace got things started quickly for Niagara, scoring just 51 seconds into the game off assists from
Shane Ott and
Grayson Dietrich. After a back-and-forth battle through two periods that saw the teams deadlocked at 3-3, Niagara took control in the final frame.

Trevor Hoskin broke the tie at 16:50 of the third period, followed by
Noah Carlin's empty-net goal less than a minute later.
Spencer Young put the exclamation point on the victory with Niagara's sixth goal at 18:05, assisted by
Kyler Kleven who finished the night with three points (1 goal, 2 assists).

Pierce Charleson turned in a strong performance, stopping 38 of 41 shots to earn his 17th win of the season. Despite being outshot 41-30.
