Edison, N.J. – The Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) has announced that Lance Cruz was awarded with Jersey Mike's MAAC Men's Swimmer of the Week and Vilem Mikula honored with Jersey Mike's MAAC Men's Rookie of the Week Wednesday afternoon.
 
Cruz tabbed with the MAAC Men's Swimmer of the Week after recording wins in three individual events in the 100 Breaststroke (58.22), 200 Breaststroke (2:06.66) and 200 IM against Binghamton (1:54.18).
 
Pardubice, Czech Republic native Mikula was awarded with the MAAC Men's Rookie of the week after winning the 100 Backstroke with a time of 52.11 in Binghamton.
 
Men's Swimming is back in action on October 25 as they host Le Moyne at the Oxy Aquatic Center in Niagara University, N.Y.
