Jaeden Marshall added 17 off the bench as Niagara pulled away in the second half for a 70-60 victory over Saint Peter's on Friday night.

How it Happened
The Purple Eagles (7-8, 2-2 MAAC) used a decisive 20-7 run midway through the second half to break open what had been a tight game. The surge, which turned a 40-35 lead into a commanding 60-42 advantage with 7:38 remaining, was highlighted by Adelodun's sharp shooting and Marshall's timely scoring.

During the game-changing stretch, Niagara's defense clamped down while its offense clicked on all cylinders. The Purple Eagles shot 56.5 percent in the second half and finished the game at 53.3 percent from the field.

Armoni Zeigler led Saint Peter's (5-7, 0-4) with 13 points, while Marcus Randolph added 10 for the Peacocks, who remain winless in conference play.

Niagara's bench played a crucial role, outscoring Saint Peter's reserves 29-26.
