NIAGARA UNIVERSITY, N.Y. – The nationally ranked Fairfield Stags (7-1, 1-0 MAAC) scored six times in the final quarter to earn a 14-7 win over Niagara (7-2, 0-1 MAAC) Saturday afternoon in MAAC women's lacrosse action from Niagara Field.
Fairfield was led by Libby Rowe and Rylee Harrell who each scored three times for the Stags, followed by Elizabeth Talluto and Amanda Kozk with two apiece and a quartet of Stags with one goal. Claire Morris made seven saves on 13 Niagara shots.

Lexi Braniecki each found the back of the net once for the Purple and White.
Jordan Roy made seven saves while leading NU with three caused turnovers and six ground balls.
How it Happened
Savage scored the first two goals of the game giving the Purple Eagles a 2-0 lead early on in the first quarter of play.
After Fairfield made it a 2-1 game, Gill, would score her sixth of the season to put Niagara back up by two with less than a minute left in the first.
Fairfield would score two times in less than 30-seconds to start the second stanza, tying the game at three apiece, before Savage put Niagara up 4-3 with 9:08 remaining in the first half.
Niagara would take a 5-4 lead on Braniecki's lone tally of the contest before the Stags scored four-straight, including outscoring Niagara 3-0 in the third, to take an 8-5 lead into the final 15 minutes of play.
Niagara would make it a two-goal margin early in the fourth as Savage scored her fourth of the game, but the Stags responded with back-to-back tallies to take a 10-6 lead.
With 6:33 remaining, Garlow would score on a free-position attempt, making it 10-7 in favor of Fairfield, but the Stags would end the contest on a 4-0 run, including two goals in the final minute to end the Purple Eagles' six game win streak.
Niagara Notes
• The Purple Eagles move to 3-25 all-time against Fairfield.
• The loss is Niagara's first setback at home since March 29, 2023 against Canisius.
• Savage has recorded four or more goals in seven games this season.

Sydney Huhtala notched her seventh game this season with at least three caused turnovers.

Mickey Knapp had three ground balls on the afternoon, her fourth game this season with at least three.

Riley Latray had three assists on Saturday, moving her season total to 30. It took the Syracuse, N.Y., native 13 games to reach the 30-assist mark a during her record-breaking season in 2023.
