RIVERDALE, N.Y. - Niagara volleyball continued its strong conference play, sweeping Manhattan 3-0 (25-22, 32-30, 26-24) in a Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference match Saturday at Draddy Gymnasium.

The Purple Eagles (10-9, 6-2 MAAC) were led by junior outside hitter
Liana Tolliver, who posted a match-high 14 kills. Senior
Payton Lee added 10 kills with a .300 hitting percentage.

Niagara's defense proved crucial, with sophomore libero
Bella Peroni anchoring the back row with 23 digs. Freshman setter
Paisley Ka'ahanui orchestrated the offense with 17 assists, while junior
Kylie Blessing contributed 14 assists and a team-high three service aces.

The Purple Eagles showed resilience in a tightly contested second set, eventually prevailing 32-30 to take a commanding 2-0 lead in the match and before going on to take set three by the final score of 26-24.
