HONOLULU, O'AHU – The Purple and White fell to 2-8 overall on the season after being bested by Pacific and Hawaii Sunday afternoon during the Hawaii Spring Fling.
Game 1 Recap: Niagara 1, Pacific 3
• The Purple Eagles would get on the board first in the top of the third when
Kaity McInall laced a two-out double into to left to drive in
Lindsay Mayo and give NU an early 1-0 lead.
• In the bottom of the fourth, the Tigers would score a pair off
Maddie Hickingbottom to take a 2-1 lead over the Purple and White.
• A single in the bottom of the fifth gave Pacific a 3-1 lead over the Purple Eagles.
• Niagara would get just one runner on in the final two innings before the last out was recorded.
Niagara Notes
• Mayo extended her hit streak to nine games.
• McInall went 2-for-3 with an RBI, her first multi-hit game of the season.
• Hickingbottom went 4.0 innings, allowing five hits and one earned run. She struck out four of the 21 batters she faced.
• As a team, Niagara went 1-for-4 with runners in scoring position.
Game 2 Recap: F/5: Niagara 0, Hawaii 8
• Two Niagara errors and two Hawaii base knocks led to five runs for the Warriors in the bottom of the first inning.

Bayleigh McCullough would record a one-out bunt single but the Purple Eagles couldn't capitalize in the second.
• Niagara would get two runners on in the top of the fourth but back-to-back strikeouts to end the inning thwarted the Purple Eagles scoring chance.
• In the bottom half of the fourth,
Julia Thompson allowed one run on a hit and an error as Hawaii took a 7-0 lead over NU.
• Hawaii would walk it off in the bottom of the fifth with a solo home run.
Niagara Notes
• Mayo saw her nine-game hit streak to start the season come to an end.

Samantha Hare recorded a hit and now has three for the Hawaii Spring Fling.
• McCullough has a hit in four of her eight games played this season after reaching on a bunt in the second.
• Niagara went 1-for-9 with runners on base and left a total of seven runner stranded.
• Hickingbottom moves to 1-3 on the season after allowing five runs (one earned) in 0.2 innings of work.

Cara Leone pitched 3.2 innings, allowing four hits and one run.
• Thompson recorded the only Purple Eagle strikeout on the afternoon.
