HONOLULU, O'AHU – Utah used three pitchers to no-hit the Purple Eagles Monday afternoon, en route to a 10-0 five inning win.
The loss moves Niagara to 2-9 on the season.
Game Recap:
• The Utes would score five runs in the top of the first off of Niagara starter
Riley Crum.
• After adding one run in the third, Utah would add four in the fourth to go up 10-0 over Niagara.
• The lone Niagara baserunner came in the first inning when
Lindsay Mayo led the inning off with a walk.
• Utah's Sandez started the game, going two innings before being replaced by Ladd for two innings. Sandez struck out three in her two innings.
• Morris would come in to close out the game for the Utes.
Niagara Notes
• Monday marked the first time Niagara had been no-hit since May 8, 2022 in a 9-0 loss to Canisius.
• Crum fell to 0-3 on the season with the loss.
• Niagara used three pitchers in the contest, Crum,
Cara Leone and
Sage Jackson.

• Niagara will play in the Rainbow Wahine Classic, hosted by Hawaii, March 9-11. The Purple Eagles open the tournament against Fordham at 8:30 p.m.
