Orlando, FL—The Niagara men's tennis team opened its spring break trip on Tuesday against Denison. The Purple Eagles fell 5-2 to the tenth ranked team in Division III.
Doubles

• The duo of Trevor Masi and Tanner Bedard won the first doubles match as they won 6-4.
• Manuel Alonso and Roberto Vaca fell 7-5 in second doubles.
• In third doubles Salvador Vazquez and Rohan Srivistava went to a tiebreaker but fell as Denison took the doubles point.

Singles

• In third singles, Masi won his match after dropping the opening set 7-5. He took the second set in a tiebreaker and won the third set 6-2 to earn the point for the Purple Eagles.
• Alonso took a point in fourth singles as he won in straight sets 6-3, 6-2.

Niagara Notes

• Masi has now won his last two matches, he is also 4-2 this season in the third position.
• The team of Masi and Bedard are 4-3 this season in doubles, they have the most wins of any doubles combo the Purple Eagles have formed this season.
