ORCHARD PARK, NY – The Purple Eagles dropped their MAAC men's tennis opener against Siena Saturday afternoon by a final score of 4-3.

Trevor Masi picked up a win on court one, defeating Russo, 7-5, 6-3.

Tanner Bedard dropped the first set of his match with Suarez, 2-6, before bouncing back, 6-4, 6-4, to pick of the win in No. 3 singles.

Gurustat Makkar defeated his opponent in three sets, 6-7(4), 6-4, 10-9.
Doubles
• Niagara's top doubles pairing of Masi and Bedard came together to defeat Russo and del Olmo of Siena, 6-4.
• The Saints would take the other two doubles matches to earn the point.

• Makkar and Bedard picked up their first career MAAC wins in singles action.
• Masi remains undefeated on the season and has won his last four matches in the No. 1 slot.
